James Kaleda Ejected From Hearing By NJ State Troopers

No "Mr. No hair out of place", YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER!

"James Kaleda explains that the proposed NJ Gun Bills will not save any lives but will endanger them. He is ejected by Committee Chair Senator Norcross. This took place at the NJ Senate gun control hearings in Trenton on April 30, 2013." Haggz51 (5/8/13)

Gun Rights Speaker Forcefully Ejected from NJ Public Hearing
http://www.guns.com/2013/05/17/gun-rights-speaker-forcefully-ejected-from-nj-public-hearing-video/

Tensions were high as both sides of the gun control aisle spoke during a Senate Law and Public Safety Committee held earlier this month in Trenton, NJ.

As the hearing progressed, gun-rights supporters grew frustrated at the legislators move to amp measures that would only pertain to law-abiding gun owners and not the criminals they aimed to stop.

In a particularly heated exchanged, 2nd Amendment advocate James Kaleda, 36, was asked to keep his comments relative to bills being heard. “I am on the bill. And I will be heard,” Kaleda said. But Committee Chairman Donald Norcross (D-Camden) called Kaleda out of order.

“This hearing’s out of order,” Kaleda replied.

Within moments, a visibly disgruntled Kaleda was forcibly escorted out of the committee headquarters by law enforcement." Chris Mandia/Guns.com (5/17/13)

The REAL Purpose Of The 2nd Amendment - The Ultimate Critique Of Gun Control

"Let's talk about Gun Control. There are those who believe that the government should have the monopoly on violence; that the government should be the only one armed, and that we should trust the government to defend and protect us.

There's just one little tiny problem with that...

The gang of armed men doing the killing and kidnapping usually IS the government." StormCloudsGathering (8/30/12)

Gun Toting Liberals

"The mainstream media likes to keep us divided and fighting among ourselves over trifling issues, and they accomplish this by framing all political discussion in terms of left vs. right, conservative vs. liberal (or progressive as they call it now). This video isn't intended to play into that false paradigm, and it it is not intended as an attack on liberals, its purpose is to reach through those illusory political barriers, to connect to both sides on an issue that is crucial to the future of this nation: The 2nd Amendment.

If you support the second amendment please share this video, give it thumbs up, favorite it, or you can even upload it to your own channel if you like. If you upload it to your channel please just link back to my youtube account to support my channel." StormCloudsGathering (5/17/12)

Connecticut Shootings What No One Dares Say

"Last week 27 Americans were murdered in a shooting spree, 20 of those killed were children. An enormous amount of attention is being focused on this event, even to the point of having the president make emotional speeches about it and visiting the families, and the story has been the top story on the news not just in the United States, but all over the world. Obviously this is an enormous tragedy for the families involved, however there is something very important that's not being said here.

The obvious attack on the 2nd amendment may be the main topic on your mind, but the problem goes much deeper than gun control or any of these other surface issues." StormCloudsGathering (12/17/12)

We're In A War, And We Need To Deal With It That Way

It's a deadly turf war: rival Mexican drug cartels battling for control of smuggling routes, power and money. The violence is not just coming here, it is here. Government's first job is to secure the border ... and Barack Obama has failed. Now he's using that failure as an excuse to force more gun control laws on the lawful Arizonans, New Mexicans and Texans his policies abandoned.

Video: Can't grab guns while border on fire
http://www.wnd.com/2013/04/video-cant-grab-guns-while-border-on-fire/?cat_orig=us

"America’s southern border is practically a war zone, as Mexican cartels wreak a reign of terror on both sides of the Rio Grande, claims the National Rifle Association – hardly the time for Barack Obama and his cronies in Congress to be restricting Americans’ rights to self-defense.

In a new video featuring testimony from sheriffs and ranchers along the southern border, NRA President Wayne LaPierre warns the gun-control agenda of America’s left doesn’t just threaten the Second Amendment right to bear arms, but also threatens the country’s national security.

“Everything we love about America all the freedoms our forefathers fought for, all of it, is under attack by Barack Obama,” LaPierre claims in the video, “but the media won’t tell you that or show you the story you’re about to see.”

What follows is a graphic illustration of the level of violence Mexican drug cartels are pouring out on all who oppose them, including murder, torture, beheadings and more.

“This violence, it’s not just coming here,” Pinal County, Ariz., Sheriff Paul Babeu told a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing, “it’s here.”

“We’re in a war,” agrees Sheriff Larry Dever of Cochise County, Ariz., “and we need to deal with it that way.”

Instead of following Dever’s advice, the video points out, the Obama administration has insisted the border is “as secure now as it has ever been” and the U.S. needs to stop selling so-called “assault weapons” in order to tone down the violence.

Forgive the border ranchers quoted in the video if they don’t agree.

“The federal government has abandoned us,” claims rancher Fred Davis of Tombstone, Ariz.

“Do I think the border is secure?” asks Dr. Mike Vickers, a rancher from Falfurrias, Texas. “H— no!”

Vickers continues later in the video, “My wife comes home from the grocery store and a woman’s head is in our front yard. Is this America? Or is this Iraq?”

Ed Ashurst a rancer from Apache, Ariz., pulls no punches in condemning attempts by legislators to pass gun-control laws at a time like this: “In my opinion, it’s borderline treason.”

The video seeks to debunk many of the myths propagated by Obama and the political left on both sides of the border, namely that the cartels are getting their guns from the U.S. and Mexican President Felipe Calderon’s claim that the U.S. acting to restrict assault weapons will help solve violence in Mexico.

Many of the weapons the cartels are using, the video claims, come from the Mexican military itself, as part of a mutually profitable business conducted between the cartels and a corrupt government.

Now is not the time to start laying down arms, the NRA insists, but time to all the fiercer protect Americans’ 2nd Amendment rights." Drew Zahn/WND.com (4/1/13)

Drugs, Guns, And School Shootings

Radical increase in kids prescribed Ritalin
http://www.wnd.com/2013/04/radical-increase-in-kids-prescribed-ritalin/

CDC director: 'Misuse appears to be growing at an alarming rate'

"More than a decade after a national scandal regarding the over-prescription of Ritalin and similar drugs to millions of American children diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now reports a far higher rate of diagnosis than a decade ago.

An astounding 19 percent of high school-age boys – ages 14 to 17 – in the U.S. have been diagnosed with ADHD and about 10 percent are taking medication for it. Ten percent of high school-age girls have likewise been diagnosed.

Fifteen percent of all school-age boys have been diagnosed with ADHD and 7 percent of all school-age girls. That makes a total of 11 percent of all school-aged children in the U.S. diagnosed with ADHD.

The CDC survey completed last year found an estimated 6.4 million children ages 4 to 17 had been diagnosed at some point, a 53 percent increase over the past decade. Approximately two-thirds of those currently diagnosed have been prescribed drugs such as Ritalin or Adderall. Those drugs can help patients with both mild and severe symptoms, but they can also cause addiction, anxiety and psychosis.

Previous studies have estimated 3 to 7 percent of children have ADHD. Although there is no defined test, it is usually diagnosed by consulting with patients, parents and teachers. The rapid increase in the number of diagnoses and the prescriptions has long caused concern among medical professionals, with the harshest critics alleging that children are being drugged to make them easier to teach in the public school system.

“Those are astronomical numbers. I’m floored,” Dr. William Graf, a pediatric neurologist in New Haven and a professor at the Yale School of Medicine, told the New York Times. “Mild symptoms are being diagnosed so readily, which goes well beyond the disorder and beyond the zone of ambiguity to pure enhancement of children who are otherwise healthy.”

And while CDC director Dr. Thomas R. Frieden told the Times “the right medications for ADHD, given to the right people, can make a huge difference,” he added: “Unfortunately, misuse appears to be growing at an alarming rate.”

David Healy, M.D., is a former secretary of the British Association for Psychopharmacology and has authored 20 books, including “The Antidepressant Era” and “The Creation of Psychopharmacology.”

He told WND psychiatric meds, including psycho-stimulents like Ritalin, as well as SSRI antidepressants, are vastly over-prescribed.

Indeed, it’s not just misuse of ADHD drugs that’s causing concern for many. The CDC also reports 11 percent of Americans age 12 and older are taking antidepressant medication. And a stunning 23 percent of women ages 40-59 take antidepressants, more than in any other age-sex group.

Another concern is a growing link between antidepressant and antipsychotic medications and violence. Psychiatric drugs are controversial not just because of their over-prescription and their side effects, but because about 90 percent of school shooters, according to Healy, were users of antidepressants, which all carry an FDA “black-box” warning of “suicidality.”

After December’s school shooting in Newtown, Conn., WND Managing Editor David Kupelian laid out case after case of mass shooters on antidepressants,” noting that “when certain people living on the edge of sanity take psychiatric medications, those drugs can – and occasionally do – push them over the edge into violent madness.”

Sales of stimulants to treat ADHD more than doubled between 2007 and 2012, from $4 billion to $9 billion, according to the Times report.

The spike is stoking fears that the drugs are being prescribed not merely to treat ADHD, but to enhance performance in school, improve falling grades or just to keep fidgety kids from disturbing classrooms.

“There’s a tremendous push where if the kid’s behavior is thought to be quote-unquote abnormal – if they’re not sitting quietly at their desk – that’s pathological, instead of just childhood,” Dr. Jerome Groopman, a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and the author of “How Doctors Think,” told the Times.

The number of teenagers prescribed such medications is expected to rise again soon. The criteria defining ADHD in the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders will be changed specifically to allow even more adolescents and adults to qualify for a diagnosis, sources tell the Times." The National Rifle Association released a new video on its Web site Tuesday calling President Obama an "elitist hypocrite" for having Secret Service protection of his daughters at school but saying he was "skeptical" about installing armed guards in all schools.

The NRA's provocative, 35-second video is as harsh as any attack ad in a political campaign and illustrates how emotionally charged and personal the debate over gun control is becoming.

"Are the president's kids more important than yours?" a deep-voiced narrator asks. "Then why is he skeptical about putting armed security in our schools when his kids are protected by armed guards at their school? Mr. Obama demands the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes, but he's just another elitist hypocrite when it comes to a fair share of security."

A White House spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The video takes issue with Obama's comments in a recent interview on NBC's "Meet the Press," in which the president voiced uncertainty about the NRA's proposal to put armed security guards in schools nationwide.

"I am skeptical that the only answer is putting more guns in schools," Obama said. "And I think the vast majority of the American people are skeptical that that somehow is going to solve our problem."

A majority of Americans, 55 percent, support the NRA's armed guards proposal, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll released this week. Those with children at home are more apt than those without to want armed guards at schools, the poll shows.

Hollywood Hypocrisy On Gun Control And Gun Violence

"Project_Veritas investigators urge Piers Morgan, Oprah Winfrey's production company (Harpo), and Robert DeNiro's production company (Tribeca) to help ban all guns from past and future movies. With some disturbed murderers citing violent movies as the impetus for their crimes, would Hollywood elites agree to remove guns from their flicks "For The Children", or would money and fame supersede their malleable ideology?" -- veritasvisuals (14/2/13)

Our encounter one week earlier with an UNLAWFUL police officer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uipObT...

We saw the a OC Sheriff car pull up so we all took out our camera-phones right away, anticipating trouble. This officer gets out of his car, waves to us, and walks right over. He shakes all of our hands, introduces himself, and states his purpose for walking over to us. (Somebody got scared and called).

He never asked us to disarm, never threatened us, never asked for our names or identification. I think I can speak for everyone in the group that it was an honor to meet this man. Thisis what we need to see from police officers everywhere! Sombusiness (9/26/13)

MRCTV's Dan Joseph heads inside a gun show to see how their safety and sales operate.

‘We Already Do That!’: MRCTV’s Dan Joseph Demolishes the Left’s ‘Gun Show Loophole’ Myth
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/05/09/we-already-do-that-mrctvs-dan-joseph-demolishes-the-lefts-gun-show-loophole-myth/

MRCTV’s Dan Joseph recently traveled to a gun show to “see how their safety and sales operate.” What he found is antithetical to the left’s claims about the so-called “gun show loophole.”

So what’s the process of buying a gun from a vendor at a gun show?

“You have to fill out a form 4473 for the federal government, and then the state police are on site here — but we also do a criminal and mental background check through our state police website,” one gun vendor explained.

For those who don’t pass those background checks, they will “more than likely” be arrested, he added. Gun dealers are also well within their rights to simply deny a sale if they feel it’s necessary.

Another vendor told Joseph that gun dealers tend to be “ultra professional and very concerned” about who they are selling guns to — perhaps even more than they are legally required to be.

“We already do that!” a vendor said when asked about gun control advocates calling for background checks at gun shows. “They want to take your guns.”

It should be noted that federal law requires licensed firearms dealers to conduct background checks. As the Washington Times notes, a “2001 Justice Department survey found 0.7 percent of state and federal prison inmates bought their weapons at a gun show.” -- Jason Howerton/TheBlaze.com (5/914)

Debunking The Gun-Show Loophole Myth

Sens. Manchin and Toomey announced their ‘compromise’ on expanding background checks Wednesday, which, among other things, closes the “gun show loophole.” By law, all federal firearms licensees are required to conduct background checks for firearms transactions—even at a gun show. But gun control advocates repeatedly say that 40 percent of all gun purchases at gun shows are private sales and thus, not subject to a background check. Where are they getting this figure from and is it true? Heritage weighs in:

As The Washington Post has pointed out, this 40 percent figure comes from a 1997 report by the National Institute of Justice, a research agency within the Department of Justice, and was based on a telephone survey sample of just 251 people who acquired firearms in 1993 and 1994. This was years before the NICS system went into effect. Of the 251 participants, 35.7 percent said that they didn’t or “probably” didn’t obtain their gun from a licensed firearms dealer. Because the margin of error was +/– 6 percentage points, it was rounded up to 40 percent, although it could just as easily and legitimately have been rounded down below 30 percent.

In addition, if you subtract people who said they got their gun as a gift, inheritance, or prize, the number dropped from 35.7 percent to 26.4 percent. And, in terms of how many people actually buy firearms at gun shows, the data from this same survey indicated that in 1994, only 3.9 percent of firearms purchases were made at gun shows.

So not only is this statistic extremely outdated, it’s also terribly exaggerated. NRA News commentator Colion Noir says the “gun show loophole” is just a red herring.

“Think about it,” he says. “Why would a vendor pay to set up shop at a gun show surrounded by competition if 40 percent of the people coming to the show are merely coming to the show to buy guns privately? I’ll tell you why—because it’s not true.” Continuing to use outdated and exaggerated data is not an argument, he says—it’s an agenda.” Leah Barkoukis/TownHall.com (4/11/13)

Gun Myths Gone In Five Minutes: ABC News 20/20

"For forty to forty-five percent of Americans, guns offer very little mystery or intrigue. They are inanimate objects; simple tools. Yet, for the majority of Americans, unfamiliarity leaves them easily persuaded by a bewildering political barrage of redundant malarkey.

Hot on the heels of the Heller Supreme Court decision (June 26, 2008, Heller v. District of Columbia), former co-anchor of ABC's 20/20, honored five times for excellence in consumer reporting by the National Press Club, nineteen-time Emmy Award winner John Stossel, dispels the deceptive, pervasive gun control myths that he once held himself. All in less than five minutes." Randy Wakeman (2/22/13)

"I said, Jill, if there's ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here, walk out and put that double-barrel shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house ..." The realization that the actual person giving this advice is only a bad hair-cut away from the Presidency should be enough to give every American pause.

"Both oligarch and tyrant mistrust the people, and therefore deprive them of their arms." -- Aristotle

If the constant gun control talk is just plain wearing you out, you are not alone. There are blatant lies presented and redundantly repeated to the extent that should really embarrass Congress, various state legislatures, governors, and mayors. As far as the “gun violence epidemic” that people can't stop screaming lies about, the FBI hides the facts in plain sight: violent crime in the United States is in decline: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2011/crime-in-the-u.s.-2011/violent-crime/violent-crime. There is no violent crime epidemic at all, for even a look at the last five years reveals the steep decline.

Despite the increase in firearm ownership, despite more guns, despite expansion of Concealed Carry, there is no explosion of improper gun use. Guns are used properly in the killing of a felon, during the commission of a felony, by private citizens, about 200 times a year. This is also no secret: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2011/crime-in-the-u.s.-2011/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-15.  Dialing 911 in these cases is way too late, the police aren't everywhere, and felons committing felonies paid with their lives, correctly. Most don't die, of course, far from it. “The National Self-Defense Survey indicated that there were 2.5 million incidents of defensive gun use per year in the U.S. during the 1988-1993 period. This is probably a conservative estimate, for two reasons. First, cases of respondents intentionally withholding reports of genuine defensive-gun uses were probably more common than cases of respondents reporting incidents that did not occur or that were not genuinely defensive. Second, the survey covered only adults age 18 and older, thereby excluding all defensive gun uses involving adolescents, the age group most likely to suffer a violent victimization. The authors concluded that defensive uses of guns are about three to four times as common as criminal uses of guns.” See Guns and Self-Defense by Gary Kleck, Ph.D.: http://www.pulpless.com/gunclock/kleck2.html.

Violence in the United States has been in a huge decline. The FBI yet again makes the data clear: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2011/crime-in-the-u.s.-2011/tables/table-1. Violent crime rates have plummeted as have murder rates. No one can miss it. In 1992, with a population of just over 255 million, the United States had 23,760 murders and non-negligent manslaughters. Flash forward to 2011, with a larger U.S. population of over 311 million: yet, a huge reduction to 14,612. From a 1992 murder / manslaughter rate of 9.3, by 2011 it has plummeted to a rate of 4.7. Violent crime in 1992 was at a rate of 757.7. By 2011, the picture improved to 386.3.

What about murders committed with firearms, the “epidemic” you've heard about? Take a look: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2011/crime-in-the-u.s.-2011/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-8.  In 2007, firearms were used to commit murder 10,129 times. In 2011, murders used firearms to kill 8,583 times. It dropped in 2008, in 2009, in 2010, and in 2011. More guns in the hands of the typical American, more Concealed Carry Weapons laws, yet year after year after year: crime and murder goes down, dramatically, and firearms are used to commit less murders every year. You can't make this up, I'm sure not, this is straight from the FBI. Note that gun murders have dropped and that ALL RIFLES (including the idea of an assault rifle that Washington and the media is obsessed with) accounted for 323 of the 8,583 murders. Rifles were used for less than 3.8% of the murders, with the about half of them rifles that could be branded with the mythical term of “assault rifles.” Somebody is lying about gun crime, and lying about “assault rifles” and the FBI reveals it to anyone that wants to know.

Before some really crazy person tells you to go out on your balcony with a double-barrel shotgun and just empty it, blasting away with a couple of shots at no known target (itself a crime in most places) thereby revealing yourself as a target and rendering your firearm empty and unusable, we really are better off with a large capacity handgun, rifle, or shotgun for personal defense. A whole lot better off. And, you don't display or otherwise use your firearm until forced to do so, just as is demonstrated some 2.5 million times a year by the regular citizen. Yes, over 2 million times a year typical American men and women refrain from going out on the balcony with a double-barrel shotgun and blast away recklessly all the time. Is it really just too much to ask for the Vice-President to get some training, some rudimentary education, before he throws out advice that instructs people to commit a crime, and could get them killed? That's just what we don't need, courts in the United States jam-packed with thousands of Americans that were arrested for illegal discharge of a weapon with the only defense is that, “The Vice-President of the United States told me to.” Further, former Delaware deputy attorney general John Garey has said that Jill Biden could be charged with aggravated menacing, a felony, and reckless endangering in the first degree by taking her husband's advice.

While gun violence continually drops, according to the FBI, the only thing on the rise is political rhetoric and media sensationalism of what is a diminishing problem. Of course any violence is a problem, there is always room for improvement. Unless the problems of gangs, the illegal drug trade, schools, and community awareness are tackled aggressively at the local level, the source of the core problems, no great improvement should be inspected. The government can of course do something, that being a focus on more vigorous prosecution of violent crimes and higher conviction rate. It takes far more than a piece of meaningless legislation or doing skeet all the time to achieve this.

He and his wife Dale Evans, his golden palomino, Trigger, and his German Shepherd dog, Bullet, were featured in more than 100 movies and The Roy Rogers Show. The show ran on radio for nine years before moving to television from 1951 through 1957. His productions usually featured a sidekick, often either Pat Brady, (who drove a Jeep called "Nellybelle"), Andy Devine, or the crotchety George "Gabby" Hayes. Rogers's nickname was "King of the Cowboys". Evans's nickname was "Queen of the West." XmasFLIX (12/7/11)
